Dr. Romero of the Southwest Center for Human Relations Studies at the University of Oklahoma provides information relating to the culture of teaching, student culture, and ethnic diversity and provides strategies by which teachers can learn to work more successfully with a more diverse population.  The primary goal of the session is to assist teachers and administrators in recognizing the importance of culture and to begin to value diversity.
