Learn about the nation-wide spread of gang activities and recent developments in suburban and rural areas.  Gain useful information about strategies which can be adopted by schools and communities for prevention and intervention of gang activity and learn to design an effective anti-gang program.  Dr. Stephens conducts training throughout the nation in areas just beginning to experience gang activity as well as areas with heavy gang involvement.  Dr. Stephens will discuss signs of gang activities that teachers and administrators should recognize, how to know the difference between a gang member and a “wannabe,” and working with parents of gang members.
